The Audi RS4 B8 featuring the 4.2L V8 engine is a dream machine in it’s Avant body. Unfortunately this car never made it to the USA, but is available to our neighbors and other countries worldwide. Sharing the same platform as the Audi RS5 4.2L V8, VR Tuned is able to offer our incredible ECU tuning for the RS4 B8. With our new ECU calibration, you are able to gain improved performance throughout the entire power curve. Once tuned, your car will have much better throttle response and rev quicker when needed. Where your car is sluggish off the line, your newly flashed car picks up right away and pulls harder through the mid and top end RPM range. Overall, the characteristics are vastly improved while providing you additional benefits that your car craves for.

All ECU tunes can be reverted back to stock if necessary.
With the VR Tuned ECU Flash, basic bolt-on performance parts will not require a retune of your ECU.
Adding parts such as an exhaust, intake, plenum, pulley, will all adjust with the tune.
If you add higher octane fuel, the ECU will adjust accordingly.
We can tune cars worldwide including JDM, EU, Australian, and USA cars for different types of octane or environments.
Other custom enhancements are available if requested and applicable.

How to Flash Your ECU?
Use the Alientech Powergate 3+ handheld device. This device is a touchscreen module that lets you store your original and tuned files to easily flash between them.

We can bench flash the ECU. To bench flash the ECU, you must remove it from your vehicle and send it to us. Once we receive the ECU, we will prepare the tune file and then ship it back to you for re-installation. We do not solder or modify the ECU board at all. All ECU tuning is done via bungy probes that have a needle tip to provide an electrical connection.
For reference this ECU is a Bosch MED17.1.1
