The SpeedTech 981 X-cellerator exhaust is designed to offer the discerning Porsche enthusiast theultimate Porsche 981 exhaust system with switched valves for control of the sound from the cockpit of your car.
X-FLOW DESIGN – By combining the exhaust pulses from both sides of the Porsche boxer motor with an “X” or “cross-flow” at the center of the system, we have developed a unique, exotic sound that has to be heard to be appreciated. Our trademark Speedtech X-Flow sound is well known and highly respected throughout the industry. Requires the use of our optional X-Pipe and dual tips.
OPTIONS – If the car is equipped with sound valves from the factory, the 981 X-cellerator system canbe connected to the OEM vacuum lines. If your car was delivered from the factory without the sound valves, then you must purchase our key fob remote control vacuum valve control system. With this sys- tem, all cars can experience adjustable sound with the push of a button. The difference is that with our key fob remote, you decide when to switch the valves vs. the cars ECU.
Furthermore, there is a choice of re-using the OEM T-Pipe and tips or utilizing our X-Pipe sound technology with dual tips. Our design retains the OEM catalytic converters for factory emissions com- pliance.
All components are constructed of T304 stainless steel. This is a very well built, top of the line exhaustsystem for the discriminating enthusiast and a great addition to any Porsche 981 Boxster or Cayman. We offer a lifetime warranty of manufacturing defects for the original owner.
