SpeedTech 700 series Y-Pipe is designed to increase air flow to the throttle body. It is constructed with high quality, 2 1/2″ mandrel bent 6061 aluminum inlet legs which merge into a 75mm outlet to feed a 75mm throttl body without any “neck-down” at the exit (such as other Y-Pipe designs we have seen). The SpeedTech Y-Pipe will improve flow of the additional air being generated on a modified car and deliver it to the engine quickly, without resistance – increasing power and response, while reducing air temperature entering the throttle body. It is perfect to upgrade cars running 500HP and beyond.
The Y-Pipe kit comes providing a complete full 2 1/2″ passage from the intercooler to the throttlle body, exactly as some other custom high end 700+HP packages, but retains the OEM MAF and intake tract for a reliable and safe OEM style installation.
