For the 2017-2021 GTR models:
It is necessary to reattach the EV motors before you start the engine after installation.
If you do not re-attach the stock actuator back right away, you risk damaging the connector by exposing the sensors to harmful external agents, such as moisture, which will cause irreparable damage to the sensors basic operational functions.
The damage will sever the communication between the motor and the ECU. Unable to receive the precise information, the ECU will trigger the check engine light to warn you of the error, ultimately diminishing your driving experience.
