Description
The Tsuchinoko Air Intake System, developed exclusively for CR-Z, directly takes in more air from the grill, the lower part of the bumper and two ducts in order to draw in cooler outside air. By reducing the intake air temperature and increasing the capacity of the air cleaner box body, J’s Racing were able to greatly improve power and torque. The entire area is powered up by taking wind from the duct.
The chamber effect achieves both low and medium rotation torque increases and the ram pressure effect increases power at high rotations. Since a part of the genuine air cleaner box is used, there are no ECU troubles such as abnormal flow rate of the airflow sensor and lightening of the fuel that can be seen with external air cleaners. Use of a genuine or genuine air cleaner reduces dust and reduces engine damage.

Notes:
Can be installed on both 6MT / CVT.
Air filter is not included!
You may use J’s Racing MAXFLOW Air Filter (part number: MAF-Z1-800) or genuine air filter.
Partially cut off the back of the bonnet.
J’s Racing Type-S bonnet can be installed without processing.
Recommended for installation at pro shops.
